Bowed Kites:

The lifting surface of a bowed kite is made up of a single plane, usually some simple geometric shape.

The surface is bowed by dihedral, decreasing surface area and increasing drag for improved stability.

Eddys, Rokkakus, and Edos are all examples of Bowed kites.
